Lego Day at St. Fintan's
4th Mar 2026
Last Friday, 28th February, our school was transformed into a colourful and creative Lego exhibition, organised by our own Lego enthusiast, Padraic.
Children from all classes brought in their fantastic Lego creations to proudly display for everyone to admire. The variety, imagination and attention to detail on show were truly impressive - from intricate buildings and vehicles to imaginative worlds and characters.
Padraic also gave a very informative presentation, supported by a slideshow, where he explained the history of Lego, how Lego bricks are made and he introduced us to Smart Play System. It was fascinating to learn how something so simple can inspire such creativity and innovation.
The exhibition was thoroughly enjoyed by all, and everyone went home having learned some very interesting facts about Lego . Well done to Padraic for organising such an engaging and enjoyable day for our school community!
