St. Fintan's Quiz Night

On Friday night, 2nd May a quiz night was held in Murphy's in Lisryan.  This marked the first social fundraiser organised by our parents group and what a night it was. All in attendance were treated to a great nights entertainment, with lots of wonderful prizes to be won in the raffle. Thanks to all who sponsored prizes, rounds and tables. Thanks to all the parents who helped organise the night and to David O'Hara for being the quizmaster. A special thanks to the parents group who put a lot of time and energy into organising the night. Thanks, we really appreciate the effort you put into the event. A total of €2,215 was raised and this money will be put to good use by our newly appointed student council who will decide what sports and playground equipment to purchase for our school.
