We had a very important visit from the Seatbelt Sheriff last week. The Seatbelt Sheriff is a road safety initiative ran by the RSA (Road Safety Authority) and he visits primary schools to teach children the importance of seatbelt safety. The programme empowers children to become 'Sheriffs' who pledge to buckle up and ensure everyone else travelling in their vehicle is securely buckled up. The children enjoyed the visit and thoroughly engaged with the seatbelt sheriff and at the end of the session the children were awarded a certificate.
